Katie Conway ’08 (Field Hockey)
Senior Director, Partnerships at the United States Golf Association
Majors: Economics & Political Science
Katie (Leinen) Conway, a 2008 graduate, began her career as a Tim Nesvig (’96) memorial intern at ESPN in 2007. After graduating, she returned to ESPN as a TV Account Service Representative, managing high-value advertising portfolios. Transitioning to digital media, she joined Google in 2011, working on Google Offers Philadelphia. In 2012, Katie moved to Major League Soccer/Soccer United Marketing, overseeing media and content marketing. Since 2015, as Senior Director at the United States Golf Association (USGA), Katie has been pivotal in developing the partnership program for the USGA’s championships, including the U.S. Open and U.S. Women’s Open, collaborating with major brands like American Express and Rolex.
Katie Dry ’07 (Women’s Soccer)
Research Project Manager, Penn State Department of Kinesiology
Major: Biology
Katie Dry, a 2007 graduate, began her career as a graduate assistant coach and then pursued a Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Arcadia University. After working as a physical therapist, Katie shifted to research, coordinating physical therapy studies for the military in San Antonio. Currently, as a Research Project Manager at Penn State’s Department of Kinesiology, Katie applies her leadership and analytical skills to advance research in her field.
Jeff Karnes ’92 (Baseball)
Founder and Managing Partner of Transeo Partners, Chief Operating Officer of Wovenmedia
Majors: Economics & Sociology
Jeff Karnes, class of 1992, transitioned from finance roles in New York and Los Angeles to high-tech positions in Silicon Valley with companies like WebEx and Yahoo. He is now the Founder and Managing Partner of Transeo Partners and the Chief Operating Officer at Wovenmedia. Jeff balances his professional achievements with family life, celebrating 28 years of marriage and the academic and athletic success of his children.
Holland Mack ’06 (Men’s Basketball)
New Jersey State Police
Major: Management
Holland Mack, class of 2006, started his career as a teacher and basketball coach before joining the New Jersey State Police. Now a Detective specializing in Financial Crimes, he also founded Grits N Griots, a charity supporting youth education. In addition, Holland runs a music production company and leads a real estate team. He credits his diverse career to the lessons learned as a student-athlete at Bucknell.
Arriana Sajjad ’15 (Women’s Lacrosse)
Associate, McDonald Hopkins’ Litigation Department
Major: Management
Arriana Sajjad, a 2015 graduate, is an Associate in McDonald Hopkins’ Litigation Department, specializing in data privacy and cybersecurity. Her career includes clerking for Justice Michele D. Hotten and a range of roles in legal research and advocacy. At Bucknell, Arriana excelled as a lacrosse player and Mock Trial Vice President, receiving the David R. Crossgrove Prize for her legal and campus leadership.
Jay Vollmar ’11 (Football)
Vice President, Global Head of eCommodities Sales at Golman Sachs
Majors: Business Administration & Management
Jay Vollmar, class of 2011, has been with Goldman Sachs since graduation, focusing on FX Middle Office and Commodities Sales. He married his high school sweetheart in 2013, and they have three children. Jay and his family are active in their local church, Hillsong, where they serve as community pastors.
